Facebook, as we know is the largest social networking website in the world today. Believe it or not it has more than 350 million active users that are spread out around the globe. Because this website is known to be a website of friendship and creating connections, it is normal that millions of people can see your picture in your profile even though you stay private. The problem is, people can easily send you notifications that they want to connect to you. But because you do not want to connect to people you do not know much about, you tend to ignore these requests. However, even if you ignore a person’s request, he can still bothers you by sending you spam friend request. So how can you ignore facebook spam friend request then? Good thing FB is now testing a new feature that can automatically set your account against spam friend request. Accordingly, the new feature will help you stop spam friend request from getting in to your account. If you don’t want to approve a friend request, you just tag the person “ignore” and that person can never send you any request or any message at all. Before, even if you ignore a person’s request he can still send you multiple requests until you get annoyed. This has now been changed. This feature was added on FB because the management has seen that FB has been the target of automated spam and phishing attacks so better think twice before approving anybody as your friend. Another social networking website is MySpace. MySpace is quite different with Facebook because you can create your own profile in there so that your circle of friends can see what you are doing and what have you wrote for them. In other words, MySpace offers more privacy so it is more designed for users who want to have smaller circle of friends only. The usual problem with MySpace, however, are small issues on its features like in profiling. how to center pictures on myspace is the usual question when profiling pictures on MySpace. Many users are offering suggestions on the web so if you have the same problem with MySpace, try any of the users’ suggestions.
